From July 12 to October 21 2019 LarbitsSisters’ bitSoil Popup Tax & Hack Campaign will be on display in Hyundai Motorstudio Beijing as part of the exhibition “Lying Sophia and Mocking Alexa, Hyundai Blue Prize award show”.
The exhibition “Lying Sophia and Mocking Alexa” aimes to create a space for imaginative and critical visions on Artificial Intelligence. Internationally renowned artists such as Kyle McDonald (VS), Anna Ridler (VK), Jake Elwes (VK) and Christian Mio Loclair (GE). It explores narratives on the future relationship between machine and man, touching upon post-humanist theory, questions surrounding big data and the rule of the algorithm. Work of the participating artists has been exhibited internationally in art spaces such as Ars Electronica, ZKM and Impakt festival.
The exhibition is curated by Iris Long, researcher at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing, focusing on artistic responses to current technological and AI developments. Her work has been nominated for various arts and art critic prizes.
