Larbitslab is an interdisciplinary creative research group on digital visualization located in Brussels, involving artists and scientists around issues raised by the advent of digital technologies such as privacy, digital identity, 2.0 practices. The specificity of larbitslab lies in the methodological approach, which combines closely observing practices, media analysis and research on the technical and societal implications.

 

An important part of the research focuses on the exploration of 2.0 digital technologies. Practices and know-how are understood both as materials and tools for research and analysis and as instruments of creation and innovation for the development of frameworks formalizing alternatives to critical societal issues. Larbitslab thus aims to contribute to the development of skills around technological devices of network societies.
