A LIVING MANUFACTURING LANDSCAPE

Developed from Photosynthesising Flowerpots, the project explores symbiotic manufacture as a way of making with living and mineral processes. Within the site-specific installation at JAM Lisbon, biomaterials, photosynthetic microorganisms, light, moisture and care interact to form a slow manufacturing landscape where vessels breathe, grow, dry and mineralise.
